The duration of Merse – Konale Hike is 3 hours. Driving in a car from Gileboom to Siahkalrood, after passing two metal bridges, we reach Merse village at the end of the asphalt road. This village is located by the Khoshke-Lat River. We will continue walking the dirt road for 10 minutes along Konale village. At the end of the village, we can see beautiful tea farms in the hillside and Khoshke-Lat River’s headwater. Continuing the tea farms we arrive at seasonal waterfalls over a slope in the jungle along a small valley. We’ll take a 30-minute hike from the waterfalls to the shepherd’s shelter where we can see a dazzling view of Somamus peak and Jordasht pristine forest.
